We are hiring multiple roles for an exciting new opportunity in the Vernon area! E-Scooters have arrived and we are looking for some great people to come join the operations team as Scooter Technicians!
This position is available part time or full time, there are openings 7 days a week with 3 shift times per day. There is the possibility of overtime and on call shifts as well depending on work load and volume.
7:00am - 3:00pm
3:00pm - 11:00pm
11:00pm - 7:00am
What you'll do:
- Report to Warehouse Supervisor for the shift
- Ability to service and repair electric scooters
- Mandatory safety checks on the fleet before it is deployed to the streets
- Identify critical parts that need improvement and ensure the fleet is in top condition
- Safely swapping of Batteries and on-site maintenance of scooters ensuring the quality control is met at all times
- Assist the product and engineering team with field testing new innovations and features
- Management and understanding of parts and inventory control
- Represent Neuron as a positive brand ambassador
What you'll need:
Driven individual with mechanical engineering and/or logistics background Prior experience in bike mechanics or e-scooter is advantageous
- High-energy individual with a solution-oriented mindset
- Be comfortable with lifting up to 26kgs
- Excellent communication skills
Additional responsibilities and expectations for all the roles:
- Working outdoors under various weather conditions
- Move and lift scooters safely and responsibly throughout the day
- Work safely and responsibly with Battery swapping and charging
- Work safely and responsibly with electrical systems
- Assist with loading and unloading of operational vans
- Train and help other team members
- Comply and practice safe working etiquettes
- Align to health and safety expectations
- Use smartphone Apps to fulfill daily duties
- Capable of riding an electric scooter
